How to get to Ojos del Caburgua?
The best way to get there is by car. The park has its own car park.
Can Ojos del Caburgua be reached by public transport?
The park itself cannot be reached by public transport. There is a bus that leaves from Pucón and leaves you on the main road. From here it is about a 25 minute walk to the park.
What to do in the Ojos del Caburgua Park?
The park’s main attraction is basically the three waterfalls with their 20-metre falls and the wooden walkways that run through the Patagonian forest and along the Caburga River. In addition, the emerald blue of the water is a real eye-catcher.
The walk along the footbridges does not require much physical effort, it is about 20 minutes from the beginning of the park to the waterfalls, so it is perfectly suitable for children.
Attention: bathing in the waterfalls and the river is forbidden.
Is it possible to eat in Ojos del Caburgua?
Yes. There is an ice-cream parlour, bakery and a fast-food outlet with drinks. So you don’t need to bring your own food to the site.

Things to do in the surroundings of the Ojos del Caburgua Park
In addition to seeing the waterfalls, there are other attractions worth visiting nearby:
- Mirador de Peces: Don Chalo’s place offers a 10-minute walk through natural pools of trout farms, as well as the possibility of sport fishing. The fish are not on the Caburga River, but in a separate section of the river.
- Neumatiloco: very close to the Ojos de Caburga is a nice activity to do with children in Pucón. It is a journey through the forest where you meet different animals made of tyres. Here you will encounter snakes coiled in trees, peacocks, bears and more.
- Salto las Vertientes: 10-metre waterfall where you can swim or have a picnic. The good thing about the site is that it is not as crowded as the Ojos del Cabargua. You enter by following the road to the cemetery and turning right. There is an entrance fee to gain access.
- Playa Blanca: this magnificent beach is located eight kilometres from the eyes of the Caburgua, on the shores of the Caburgua Lake. Its name is due to the fact that the colour of the sand resembles more a Caribbean beach than Chilean Patagonia itself. You can snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the lake, rent jet skis and kayaks. For children there are inflatable games on the water.
- Playa Negra: very close to the previous one, the shade of the sand is totally different. with a darker shade especially near the lake shore. Less crowded than the previous one, it is perfect for a family visit.
